It’s time to put aside the mainstream media’s fear mongering and read from Ron Paul’s own essay on what he would do if he became president. This is a realistic assessment of what a Libertarian (or any constitutionally-minded) president could actually expect to pursue and accomplish if elected to the presidency. I’ve heard many similar statements by other noted Libertarians such as Harry Browne and Michael Badnarik, so it’s nice to see the real agenda get a full public showing.

We hear all the time from the media pundits that “whackos” like Ron Paul, Rand Paul and other Libertarians would throw old people out into the street, give corporations carte blanche to do as they please, destroy the environment, get everyone addicted to drugs, destroy education and generally cause the downfall of modern civilization. But as the old saying goes, it just aint so.
